Two of the UK’s leading creative’s have come together to craft a collection for London  Fashion Week 2014 which moulds cutting edge art, fashion and haute couture styling.

Swarez is a leading contemporary artist best known for his colourful and incredibly  detailed paintings which hang in some of the leading private collections worldwide.

Adnan Bayyat, is an haute couturist at the cutting edge of fashion design has created for Lady GaGa as well as blue-chip companies . His avant-garde show in the Grand Connaught Rooms is a perfect opening to London Fashion week.

Swarez and Adnan have collaborated together with Swarez creating 2 massive tartan canvasses which Adnan has turned into incredibly beautiful dresses.

The collection is based on English and French gentry of a bygone era when elegance and refined splendour were the bywords of the day.

Swarez said “Adnan and I met at a festival of art couture where we were both judges and instantly hit it off. I created the paintings on canvas in the same way I would approach any commission, with Adnan as my client; he’s utterly blown me away with what he’s created – the dresses are stunning and I am so proud to be part of his collection at London Fashion Week”

“Canvas is my textile of choice and it presents all sorts of challenges when moving that from two dimensional to three dimensional, how do you preserve the feel of the piece and how do you create something that will delight and amaze? I’m thrilled with how the show has been received and it was great to be congratulated by leading figures in the fashion world.

“Adnan and I are both self taught, I’ve learnt my art by trial, error and constantly striving for perfection, and he is the same so we’ve worked together really well to create this wearable art.”
